I’m one of the few people who can say they’re a true Florida Cracker. I have lived in Florida my whole life and have called St. Johns home for over a decade. Before I was a Realtor, I was a teacher. I taught grades 3, 4, and 5 over the course of 12 years and loved every minute! Okay, *almost* every minute. My time as a Realtor has been extremely rewarding and, while yes, I have sold hundreds of homes and been in the top 5+% of NE Florida Realtors for many years, that’s not my claim to fame – teaching is. Though I’ve left the classroom, I still teach every day; only now I teach big people about big people things. I teach other Realtors and I teach my clients – two things I truly love. After teaching, training, and managing for a large real estate company in town for 6 years, I decided to take a leap of faith and go out on my own to open Bridge & Beacon Real Estate … and what a rewarding leap it has turned out to be. Opening a brokerage by yourself is a tremendous amount of work, but it has allowed me to do so many things that I would otherwise not have been able to do. I knew Gary Davis was an amazing teacher because I worked with him during his teaching career! So naturally, when we were looking for a new home and needed to sell our home, we sought out Gary. Now we know that he is an equally amazing realtor! My husband and I decided to put our home of 20 years on the market. I don’t think there are enough words to describe how wonderful of a person Gary is! We met him over a year ago when we first decided we wanted to buy. Gary guided us. He listened to everything we wanted for our family. He was very patient and always was available to answer all our questions. First time home buying is scary! Or so I thought it would be. The support, honesty, thoroughness, intelligence and integrity that comes from Gary Davis is something I have never experienced before from a realtor here in Florida.
